What do I need to use Upper OS?
A website, a clear goal and access to the systems Upper OS should use – such as ad accounts, analytics or your customer database.
How does set-up work?
In five steps: describe your business, set the goal, connect systems, configure approvals and review the first strategy. How long this takes depends mainly on how many systems you connect.
Can I start small?
Yes. The Start plan is also the whole of Upper OS with all areas; it works with less capacity and fewer measures in parallel. You can expand at any time; knowledge, rules and audit trail are kept.

How do I log in?
You log in to the Upper OS application. You will find the “Log in” entry at the top of the website.
How do I invite colleagues?
In the settings you invite people and assign them a role. The role determines what someone may see, approve or change.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. The plans build on each other. Marketing Brain, rules and audit trail are kept when switching.
03 Goals and strategy

How often does Upper OS adjust the strategy?
Priorities are updated continuously and presented for approval weekly. The strategy is reviewed monthly; you set or confirm goals quarterly.
Can I reject a recommendation?
Yes. Every recommendation comes with reasoning; you can accept, adjust or reject it. Upper OS takes your decision into account in its next proposals.
What if my goal changes?
You change it in the Command Center. Upper OS derives new priorities and presents the changes for your approval.
04 Approvals and autonomy

What may Upper OS do without my consent?
Only what you have approved per type of action – and always within your budget caps and brand rules. Everything else is presented to you as a proposal.
How do I stop all activity?
With the instant stop in the Command Center – individually or all at once. If something looks unusual, Upper OS also pauses on its own and gets in touch.
Where do I see what Upper OS has done?
In the audit trail: every action is listed with time, reasoning, the rule applied and its effect.
05 Integrations
3 answers
Which systems can I connect?
Which integrations exist and what they may read and do is listed on the Integrations page. An integration is only available once it has been tested with real accounts.
Can I revoke access?
At any time – in Upper OS or directly with the provider of the system. Upper OS ends its access immediately.
My system is not listed. What now?
Tell us which tools you work with. We will assess together whether and how a connection makes sense.
06 Plans and billing
3 answers
Is the ad budget included in the price?
No. Ad budgets run through your own ad accounts and are billed directly by the platforms. Upper OS steers them within hard caps.
What determines the price?
Scope, capacity and usage – not a share of the ad budget. Third-party costs stay separate.
Are there individual offers?
Yes, for example for several companies, special requirements for data and approvals or a large number of clients.
07 Privacy and security

Can another company see my data?
No. Upper OS is built so that every company’s data, rules, knowledge and audit trail sit in their own separate workspace. Our support only accesses them with your approval, and every access is visible in the audit trail.
Where can I find information on data processing?
In the data processing agreement (DPA), which applies from the conclusion of the contract: subject matter, data categories, data subjects and sub-processors.
How do I report a security issue?
